【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportofferssuggestionsfordesigningandconductingvalidationassaystohelpdetermineifprocessesusedinthemanufactureofmedicaldevicesderivedfromnon-viableanimaltissuesmightservetoreducetheriskofiatrogenictransmissionoftransmissiblespongiformencephalopathies(TSEs).TheTSE-removalmethodsusedtoprocessanimaltissuesshouldalsoreducetheriskoftransmittingTSEinfectionsvianon-viabletissuesofhumanorigin;thisTechnicalReportdoesnotaddressthisissue.SomecurrentinformationonhumantissuesandTSEsispresentedwhichmaybeappliedbyanalogytootheranimaltissues.ThisTechnicalReportdoesnotintendtoimplyaneedforvalidationofmethodsinvolvingspecificmaterialsidentifiedashavinga“negligiblerisk”ofcontaminationwithTSEagentsaslistedinAnnexCofISO22442-1:2007.ThisTechnicalReportisintendedtoclarifyfinaldraftinternationalstandardsincludedintheISO22442series,aswellasinISO14160.ThisTechnicalReportbuildsuponthespecificdiscussioninISO22442-3relativetoTSEagentsandattemptstosummarizethecurrentstateoftheartinthearenaofTSEagentelimination.AstheunderstandingofinactivationandeliminationofTSEagentsevolves,thisdocumentwillberevisedwhenpossible.
