【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtodeterminetheapparentdensityofspecimensfromtheirareaandthickness.Bymeasuringapparentdensity,thedegreeofloadingorofcompressionofleathercanbeevaluated.Thetestmethodisunsuitableforverysoftleatherssuchaschamoiswhosethicknesscannotbeaccuratelymeasuredbythetestmethodcited.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheapparentdensityofspecimensofleather.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytowetblue.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
