【摘要】:Designofmostcoalcombustionandcoalconversionequipmentanticipatesthattheasheitherremainsolidorassumesomedegreeoffluidity,dependingontheparticulardesign.Ashfusibilitytemperaturespredictwhethertheashwillperformproperlyintheprocessforwhichthecoalwaschosen.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheobservationofthetemperaturesatwhichtriangularpyramids(cones)preparedfromcoalandcokeashattainandpassthroughcertaindefinedstagesoffusingandflowwhenheatedataspecifiedrateincontrolled,mildlyreducing,andwheredesired,oxidizingatmospheres.1.2Thetestmethodisempirical,andstrictobservanceoftherequirementsandconditionsisnecessarytoobtainreproducibletemperaturesandenabledifferentlaboratoriestoobtainconcordantresults.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
