【摘要】:Thelithographicprintingprocessrequiresthatsomedampeningsolutionbeemulsifiedintotheink.Thesetestmethodsprovidearapidmeansfordeterminingwaterpickupunderlaboratoryconditions.Testresultsmaybeusefulforspecificationacceptancebetweenthesupplierandthecustomer.Inorderthatresultsbecomparable,thetestsmustberunatthesametemperatureandwiththesametypeandquantityofliquidaddedpriortomixing.Theemulsionsobtainedinthesetestmethodsareoflargerparticlesizethanthosetypicallyproducedinprintingnips.Becauseoftheseandothervariablesintheprintingprocess,waterpickupresultsdonotbythemselvespredictlithographicprintingperformance.1.1Thesetestmethodscovertwoproceduresfordeterminingtheamountofwaterpickedupbylithographicprintinginksinalaboratorymixer.1.2TestMethodAcoverssingle-pointwaterpickup;TestMethodBcoverstherateofwaterpickup.Bothtestmethodsareapplicabletoanyprintinginkandvehicleintendedforthelithographicprintingprocess.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
