【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversprefabricatedmodifiedbituminoussheetmaterialsreinforcedwithpolyesterfabric,withorwithoutgranules,thatuseatacticpolypropylene(APP)astheprimarymodifierandareintendedforuseinthefabricationofmultipleplyroofingandwaterproofingmembranes.Note18212;Manymodifiedbituminoussheetsarecurrentlymarketedwithpolyestermatreinforcedwithglassyarnstoimproveprocessinginthemanufactureofthefinishedmodifiedbitumenproductandtoreducedistortionsthatmaybeintroducedduringproduction.TheseglassyarnsaretypicallyasmallpercentageofthereinforcementanddonotcontributetothephysicalpropertiesofthefinishedproductsomuchastomaketheseproductsbeclassifiedbySpecificationD6223.1.2Thisspecificationisintendedasamaterialspecificationonly.Issuesregardingthesuitabilityofspecificroofconstructionsorapplicationtechniquesarebeyondthescopeofthisspecification.1.3Thespecifiedtestsandpropertylimitsusedtocharacterizethesheetmaterialscoveredbythisspecificationareintendedtoestablishminimumproperties.In-placeroofsystemdesigncriteriasuchasfireresistance,fieldstrength,impact/punctureresistance,materialcompatibility,upliftresistance,theneedforfieldappliedcoatings,andothers,arefactorsbeyondthescopeofthismaterialspecification.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-poundunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarystatementpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section9,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
