【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedtoestimatethewaterresistanceofshoeupperleather.Thefleximpartedtotheleatherisamagnificationoftheflexgiventhevampoftheshoeinactualwear.Note18212;ThereisanindicationthatthistestmethodcannotbeusedinterchangeablyforspecificationpurposeswithTestMethodD2099.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedynamicwaterresistanceofshoeupperleatherbymeansoftheDowCorningTester.Ithasbeenrevisedtoshowthestateoftheartintheequipmentusedintesting.Itisapplicabletoalltypesofshoeupperleather.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytowetblue.1.2Initialwaterpenetrationandwaterabsorptioncanbemeasured.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
